Hope's Horizon
A youth-led initiative
We are a youth-led initiative bringing hope, support, and awareness to those affected by cancer. โญ๏ธ๐๏ธโค๏ธ โ เญจเญง โ
Hope's Horizon is a youth-led initiative dedicated to supporting children and families affected by cancer. Our mission is to provide comfort, hope, and encouragement through thoughtfully prepared care kits filled with items that bring joy during treatment. We also plan to create handmade cards with uplifting messages to remind children that they are loved, supported, and never alone in their journey.
As we grow, we hope to organize community events, awareness campaigns, and workshops to educate others about childhood cancer and its impact. Through fundraising efforts, we aim to provide resources, care kits, and support to hospitals, cancer programs, and families facing the challenges of cancer treatment.
We believe every child deserves kindness, encouragement, and a strong support system throughout their cancer journey. No child should have to face cancer feeling alone, and no family should have to navigate it without support. That belief is at the heart of everything we hope to accomplish. ๐๏ธ

Founder & President
Hi! I'm Diya Rajkumar, and I'm a freshman at the Charter School of Wilmington. I started Hope's Horizon because I wanted to find a way to support kids and families going through childhood cancer. At school, I'm involved in BPA, Key Club, Red Cross Club, UNICEF, CureQuest, and Debate, where I hold several leadership positions and enjoy taking on leadership roles whenever I can. I also volunteer at my local library and help with community events. Outside of school, I love listening to music, watching Formula 1, and spending time with my friends and family. I'm excited to help Hope's Horizon grow and make a difference in our community.
Vice President
Hello, my name is Jasmine Shi and I am the Vice President of Hope's Horizon. I'm a sophomore at the Charter School of Wilmington and I am involved in BPA, Speech and Debate, and Girls Soccer. Outside of school, I enjoy art, both digital and hand drawn, and I love swimming. As a part of Hope's Horizon, I aspire to raise awareness and support patients and their families. I hope to help bring encouragement to those affected by childhood cancer while inspiring others to become involved in making a difference along with us.
